This product works exactly as described and is great quality. Once you get the sticker on you barely even notice it's there, it cleans well and seems to get less noticable finger prints than the glass screen underneath. I received a refurbished iPod Touch because something went wrong with my first one but it was a great opportunity this time to cover the screen. I treated my first iPod like it was made of fine glass and even still it slowly but surely got scratches on the glass. No matter what I did to protect it. This time around I've used the overlay and haven't had a problem since.
My only grip about it is that it is sooo hard to align perfectly. I'm a perfectionist and I wanted to get it on straight. So I put on the first overlay. Completely messed it up. Tried the second one. It's crooked but I'm so fed up that I don't bother a third time. In time I've since dealt with it but its frustrating. It's a good thing these come in three's.
For the price though, I'd have to say it is well worth it and definitely protects your expensive iPod from annoying glass scratches!

These seemed like a great idea. It was very difficult to get one on without a bubble or smudge, but I was able to pull it off by the second film thingy. Then I thought it was great. You could not even see it. Then the next day I noticed that the film was scratched. The Ipod screen itself (presumably glass) had never scratched even after the same type of usage (sitting in my shirt pocket with my cell phone). If they are going to scratch this easily, I am better off without them...
Then I tried to get the third one on and failed due to a small hair caught underneath. In removing the hair I made a major smudge and had to toss it. So this cost me about $12 and a half hour of my time. I do not think it was worth it.

Although applying the screen protectors takes patience and a pristine screen free of dust and grime, once it is on, you can't even notice its there. It seems thick enough to protect the screen from everyday scratches and perhaps even some larger scratches that would normally mar the screen.
A little tip: To protect the chrome back of the iPod, I cut a piece of that self-stick laminating sheet you can get at an office supply store and slapped it on the back of the player. This protects the back from everyday scratches while still allowing the sleek chrome back to show.

This product works, looks, and feels great. It's very important to follow the instructions that come with it if you don't want to end up using two or even all three of the screen protectors included. The cleaning cloth that's included with the package is very nice and I use it for all of my computer screen too! Also, sometimes when you remove the top layer of the overlay to expose it after smoothing, you may get a sort of gluey feel because it doesn't come off all the way. Just take the cloth, dab in a little water, and rub the iPod with the overlay on for about 20 seconds, and it'll be fine.

For some reason half of the screen protectors out there, to put it bluntly, suck. They either don't apply well, or they peel, or they scratch easily.
I'm happy to report this 3 pack works very nicely, it comes with a hard card to push the bubbles out, cleaning cloth, and 3 actual covers. (each cover has a sheet on each side of it that you peel off for application)
I used one of these on an iPod touch 2g, and it's a perfect fit, exactly what I wanted.
