It is a great product and concept, the only problem I have with it is the suction cup that is comes with the tripod. It doesn't work. I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a new suction cup and modify this tripod. Other than this slightly minor issue, the product is great.

I gave one of these as a gift, now that I've seen how useful it is, I want my own.
Because it is lightweight, it is easy to throw in your purse or pack, which means you have it when you need it.. Then it attaches to anything to make a stable camera shot, like a fence, a sighpost, a wine bottle, a tree branch. Much more useful than a traditional tripod.
If you want to use it is a traditional tripod you can, but you have to spread the legs out for stability, because of its low mass.
You can also use it to hold any little device to make it convenient to watch a video, etc. Overall a really creative little product.

This tripod is exactly what I was looking for. It attaches securely to my camera, and I can put it almost anywhere. I would not recommend it for heavier SLR cameras as I don't think it could handle the weight. But for smaller, lightweight cameras it is perfect.

Seeing the gorilla in an article online, I thought it was adorable, and bought two as gifts for friends. The only problem is that I didn't buy one for myself. Amazon has the best price. and the package arrived in no time at all. As cute as they are,the gorillas are not toys. They are very versatile for positioning the camera for timed shots and shots that would be nearly impossible without the added stability. Imagine not having to drag that big tripod along because this tiny gadget lets you make a "tripod" out of nearly anything - including a window!
