A very handy adaptr to attach your MP3 player (or Walkman, CD, etc) to your stereo, alarm, or car radio (if it has an aux input jack). Wind in the extra cord so one less wire hanging around.

Small, cheap and does the job. I don't know why it is not possible to find this type of device to retract cables elsewhere to use it with other appliances.

This retractable cable is perfect for connecting ipods, phones, mp3 players, etc to the AUX input on a car. My middle console in the car tends to get super cluttered, so to have a cable which doesn't get tied into knots and make a mess is a huge plus.
The sound quality so far as I can discern is great with this cable.
The retractor mechanism can tend to get stuck, but has always quickly snapped back into place after I jiggle it for a second.
The cable is only 3 feet long, which is perfect for me, but depending on where your AUX input is may not be sufficient, so be aware of what you are buying.
