From the description and picture it was hard to get a true size, this thing is huge and it takes up a large amount of space on your dash. Secondly it is useless if you buy a Tomtom Go series device because the standard windscreen arm that comes with the device is too short to mount on this dash pad. So I am now stuck with something I can't use.
The Tomtom mounting arm is too short, it wont clear the height of the padding of the ring, if you force it the Tomtom Navigation device is pointing up at the sky and you can not see a thing.
So I don't recommend this dash pad.

This dash mount works as described. Any device that normally would have to be mounted on the windshield can be mounted on this dash mat/mount. The only problem I've had with it is that it does sometimes fall off the dash with quick acceleration. Even with the friction base and the weight of the product, it has fallen. For the most part, I have been satisfied with this product.

I own a "Garmin" -Nuvi 260. I found the "Bracketron" dash pad to be a perfect fit for it. It's heavy/stable enough to keep your GPS on the spot you've placed it, regardless of the road elevations, sharp turns and sudden speed accelerations.I am very happy and satisfied with this product. There's just one little thing I wish the pad had - a channel or a whole for the GPS' power cable to go thru/over, because the edges of the pad kind of get in the way a bit. But otherwise- A++

I was looking for an alternative to mounting to my windshield. The plastic anchor that came with my GPS did not have very good adhesive. Thus it could not bear the weight of my GPS. This NavMat has held my GPS in place quite nicely. I don't make many sharp turns so I don't know how the NavMat would hold up under extreme turning. However I live in an area with a lot of winding roads. The NavMat has held my GPS unit nicely.I'd highly recommend the NavMat to those who are looking for an alternative to windshield mounting.
