Product was as described and performs as expected with good sound quality. The only problem is that the swivel part of the head on mine was loose because it was a returned and repackaged item but I only bought it for $5 so I just super glued it in a stationary position and it worked fine for me, it was not worth the hassle of returning it so I fixed it.... you get what you pay for I always say.

Very simple, but effective ipod dock. My only complaints are that you'd swear you're breaking it when you bend the flexible portion (as it tends to crack loudly) and that your ipod will have some small amount of play in the dock (after using it for some time though, I am completely confident that your ipod won't come out on its own)

This Tuneflex ipod transmitter for the car is the most amazing transmitter I have owned. I just got a griffin transmitter the other day and it was the biggest piece of junk but the tuneflex by griffin is unbelievable. It cradles your ipod and it is flexible. You need to have an aux thing in your car however but if you do I highly recommend this product to everybody. Tuneflex rocks!!!!!!!

After reading the reviews for this product, I purchased it to use with my iPhone 3G -- and I'm glad I did. Being able to listen to my iPhone while driving and charging it at the same time is well worth this purchase.
The power adapter in my car is vertical, so I don't have any of the "wobbly" or "droopy" problems that other report. The Tuneflex fits solidly in the power receptacle and stands straight up. I have an auxiliary input jack inconveniently placed on the far side of my glove compartment, but the line from the Tuneflex (about 30") is more than long enough to connect. The sound quality and signal strength that emits from the charging port is superior to that of the headphone jack, making this product a great solution.
Shortly after plugging my iPhone into the Tuneflex, a message pops up that says that this isn't a compatible device and asks if I want to switch to "airplane mode" (which switches the phone off) in order to "reduce interference". I reckon that this is Apple being selfish with their hardware compatibility licensing, and I am pleased to take a second to hit "no". There is no interference, nor are there any ill effects to using the "incompatible" device.
I use my iPhone to listen to internet radio while I drive (Slacker and Pandora are both free applications and allow you to customize the music to your personal tastes). Because I am using the auxiliary jack in my car, my steering wheel controls work great (volume and mute). When a call comes in, the music fades as the phone application comes to the forefront. The number and (if the caller is in my address book) name/picture of the caller appears on the screen and I use the button on my bluetooth headset to answer the call. Once the call is completed, I hang up using my bluetooth and *poof* the internet radio application starts up and I am listening to Rammstein again. All totally hands free, other than answering and hanging up the call. This set up is more convenient than having bluetooth integrated into the car because I can have the conversation in private, rather than blaring through my stereo speakers.
I have a 1-year-old iPhone 3G, and the only "con" I have is related to this. The Tuneflex is made for the iPod, not the iPhone. It comes with a variety of adapters so you can securely plug in a variety of devices. The one adapter that allows me to plug in the iPhone is very shallow. This allows me to get to the "Home" button below the screen, but just barely secures the phone in place. A bumpy road can and does jar the phone out of the socket, forcing me to close my radio application and restart it before there is sound. I'm about to take an extended road trip and will be packing a rubber band to hold the phone in place during the drive.
But for short trips around town, this is a fantastic product.
