The Altec Lansinc inMotioniM600 is a great iPod dock! The sound is great, I love the sleek design, and the the remote is an extra bonus. I'm surprised such a small, sleek machines can put out such great sound. I originally bought a smaller dock from Cyber Accoustics but returned it -- was not happy with it at all. So I spent more on the iM600, but it is well worth it.

The sound quality is really poor. Right out of the box it sounds like it has a blown speaker, but it's jsut thtat it has really poor bass responce. The iPod jack worked for about two weeks, now it wont play iPods any more, the same thing happened to my Dads.
Now I have an expencive rechargable radio with a remote that has really poor sound. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody.

This is our 2nd purchase of the iM600. The 1st one sounded great but was accidentally knocked over and stopped functioning. We're taking a second chance with the knowledge that the durability leaves much to be desired, but you can't beat the price.

Excellent player in all fields. The only bad is the cradle support. I glued a pad to the unit behind Ipod Touch to hold it in place better and all is fine.

I ordered this unit mainly because it had a fm receiver. The fm receiver was not able to pick up any stations unless you held the antenna. Sound quality was good, but I am still looking for a Ipod speaker system with fm that looks and sounds good.
