I bought this product about 2 months ago. It worked very well until about a week ago. One of the wires inside came undone so now I am only able to hear my music on the right speaker in my car.
If you don't mind buying one every couple of months-by all means buy it. Otherwise, invest in something a bit better that will actually last.

I think this cord works great, had almost a year now and no problems (yes, even my little plastic retractor thing is still intact). The only issue is I can't seem to get my ipod as loud as I could get with a cd, but I'm going to change my EQ (I have an ipod touch) and see if that makes a difference. The cord could be a little longer (I have a Land Rover, and the MP3 jack is in the back of the middle console); it barely reaches to my lap. Otherwise, very pleased, especially for the price.

absolutely worth for what you pay, I read some reviews about the "retractable feature breaking off after some use" so i took a leaf out of those comments and have been carefully handling the retractable feature....so far so good, the sound quality is great,I would definitely recommend this product.. and the seller is fast too, i received this product in 3 days

so far no problems with the retractor but the sound quality of the connection is terrible! sound either only comes out of one speaker or it comes out of both but it's static-y

Looks decent. Cheap. Sound is great. I have had mine for over 1 year without any problems.
One word of warning - this item DOES NOT fit into an original iPhone. However it does work with the iPhone 3G.
