It's not going to win any design awards and you'll probably be disappointed if you're looking for the same build quality that comes from Apple, but it works well and charges/syncs reliably.

This cord is longer and seems heavier duty than the one supplied by Apple. Works fine with my iPhone 3GS. The phone side connection is plastic on the part that inserts but the whole piece is beefier and I think it's well worth the price. It's nice to have a longer cord sometimes.

Nice, thick cable takes plenty of abuse getting thrown and twisted around in the car. It's thicker than the original IPod cable and I like that - protects the cable more. Highly recommended.

I chose this as an inexpensive extra USB connection for an iPod Nano 4th Generation. It works the same as the Apple cable for a much lower cost. No problems, no complaints.
