This cord is longer and seems heavier duty than the one supplied by Apple. Works fine with my iPhone 3GS. The phone side connection is plastic on the part that inserts but the whole piece is beefier and I think it's well worth the price. It's nice to have a longer cord sometimes.

I bought these for a friend of mine who needed to quickly add outdoor speakers for some upcoming parties. Everything worked perfectly. The sound quality is better than I expected and improved even more when I mounted the speakers on a wall, which really helped the bass. Range was excellent and battery life is good as well. The only downside I ran into is that the IR remote has to be aimed pretty much directly at each speaker individually as I had them fairly well seperated and couldn't control them both at the same time. Not really a bid deal at all.

These speakers are exactly what we were looking for. We take them camping, we take them to our cabin and then we take them back home as well. They sound great and all friends and family like them as well! Looking forward to buying a few more to add to these so we can have more speakers outside around our house. We like to plug these in because it seems the batterys go rather quickly. Would recommend these to anyone. These can be plugged in to the stereo, tv, IPOD..anything...it's great!

I bought these speakers thinking they would be decent based on the reviews and the price. I have a large backyard and didn't want to mess with burying wires so I tried wireless.



With 6 or 8 people in the pool talking and splashing, you couldn't hear the music very well at all. At max volume, the sound is very distorted and if the song has any bass in it, the speakers crack and pop. Really poor quality IMO.



So, I gave them to my sister who uses them in her study and she loves them. I think they're suitable for indoor use in a small room at low volume.



I'm now going to spend the money and go with outdoor rock speakers hard wired.

This is a very simple, low cost cable that allows connecting an iPod to your stereo receiver just like you would connect a CD player or other component. It doesn't work with the iPhone. It gives good sound quality and volume with an iPod and does what it is sold to do. It would be nice if it also charged the iPod but, at least in my case, the receiver isn't set up to to that anyway. Good product.

This cable performs as advertized and I'm very happy with it. It plugs in easily to any stereo jack you have available on your receiver. I like the fact that you don't have to worry about the volume control on your ipod. Volume is controlled at your receiver. Don't worry about not being able to charge your ipod with this cable. Connecting your ipod to your receiver uses the same battery power as if you had your headphones hooked up. So enjoy the music through you receiver and charge your ipod back up as you normally would at the end of the day. I use a another cable for charging that plugs into any wall outlet. Now I wish I could find a simple and inexpensive ipod stand to hold my ipod upright. Anyone have any suggestions? On the internet I saw someone make a stand out of his kids LEGO. I might highjack all my son's black LEGO.

I use Brand New OEM (Original) 3.5mm STEREO Hands-free Headset for RIM Blackberry 9530 STORM (by Verizon Wireless ) , but any 3.5 mm headset with mic (including the iPhone headsets) will work. (Be sure to get a 3.5 mm headset for the iPod Touch 2G/3G - some phone headsets are 2.5). Plug in and call.

It's cute. It's functional. I use it to record lectures with my ipod classic. It works great. I plug in my ipod to charge and the lectures go straight into my voice memos folder in iTunes. The downside is, the battery usage. Once I 'turn on' the voice recorder mode in my ipod, it totally drains the battery much faster than when I use my iPod to play regular songs. There's a little lag and also some freezing that happens on occasion, but not enough to bother me, since I paid less than five bucks for the gadget.

If you have an "aux in" in you car or home stereo or computer speakers this is the best way to go when listening to your ipod. I used to have a 3.5mm to RCA stereo jack connector. That sounded horrible because it used the ipod's internal amp which is good for nothing other than headphones. I would also have to adjust the volume on the ipod and the stereo. This little cable connects from your ipod's pin connector line out to a 3.5mm "male" jack. This way the ipod's internal amp is bypassed and nothing but the core information is sent to be amplified. Other than that, not much more to say. I have two of these cables. One is permanently connected to my JBL Duets (great "cheap" speakers by the way) in the bathroom (had to get a 3.5 mm "female" to "female" connector though) and the other comes with me for my car (a Dodge Charger which has an "aux" input in the stereo) at work. I haven't had any problems with either of my cables since I bought the first one about six months ago. Note that I'm using the cable with two ipod nano's. One is a first generation and the other a fourth generation.

The vocals on this cord come through like the music was recorded from the back of the room on a casette deck, they sound absolutely horrible. I've got a New (09) Nano (I think it's 4th Gen?) and it worked but sounded really washed out and lousy, I could barely tell what song was playing. Not recommended.

This cable has to be one of the best purchases I've made for my iPod. The sound quality improvement over a plain 3.5mm-3.5mm cable is almost night and day. Absolutely a must have for anyone that has a 3.5mm auxiliary plug in their car. The cable feels like it is high quality, and the dock connector fits snugly in the device.



Like most have noted, the volume control on the iPod is disabled when using this, which I find to be an advantage. I no longer have to remember to turn down the volume before changing from the car to headphones, which caught me quite a few times.

This cable is fantastic! Is compatible with my 5G iPod with video. I was previously using a Belkin transmitter that came from the Apple store - cost about $70 and worked well. Downside of using the transmitter is while traveling I'd have to change the station several times due to static. With the auxiliary cable I have clear sound at all times, plus I've noticed improved sound quality/louder volume. Downside to this cable is that it doesn't charge the iPod, as many others have said, but that makes sense considering that it doesn't plug into the power outlet...
