It is a very good Mp3 player and I found it easy to use except the difficulty to scroll in the music category, everything else works as stated ,it would be better if you had to double tap the screen to open anything in a scroll screen.

I purchased this after having a Sansa 4 gb player. The screen is crisp and the size is perfect. The functionality of the unit is very easy to use. I was able to download mp3 and video files from my vista system. I use a 2 gb memory card, so I have 10 gb available. The battery life is ok, lasts through one and about half of another full length movies.
I use a video converter for the videos, and in the beginning I had a little trouble with the file structure and directory. I have contacted the PE support team twice and received very informative and timely responses.
The major thing that attracted me to this unit is the price. For an 8 gb player that does everything that I want, it is a great player. I have never touched an ipod, so I can't say this is knockoff, but I do like the open architecture of this unit. I send files to it, I can send text files and read them later, like books. Pictures, music, videos, books and voice recorder. Good features that work for a low price.

I would love to write a review, however I still do not have the product. It is day 11 and still no delivery. The post office has no shipping history to report. If I knew "free shipping" means you could care less how long it takes for us to receive our product, I would have gladly paid the $5.95 to actually get my product within a reasonable time. I have since order 2 other things from other places, and received both orders.

I got totally disappointed with this gadget multi media player from PE. The first one I ordered was the 8 GB MP4/MP3 Player with FM Radio, Camera, Voice Recorder, USB Portable, and 2.8-inch Touchscreen and it was good. I rated 4 stars because it was interesting with the camera stuff and multimedia features, but it was slow and sometimes the applications couldn't start or froze up. With this new purchase from PE, I expected more features. As soon as I got the item, I copied some WMA Music to listen, it was OK. Then I decided to copy heavy stuff like RMV movies, tv series chapters, 2 GB of my music's library, some friends photos and some ebooks. For my great surprise when I disconnected from USB, the music option, video option, explorer and all the features were with strange question marks like corrupted files, I thought. Therefore I plugged again the USB to see what could've happened and Windows message was very clear: This drive doesn't have format, would you like to format it?? It was pretty obvious that the gadget erased all my info (I was lucky that it was a only copy!). After that I read at the PE webpage that if there was a problem similar to this, you've got to format the drive. I followed these instructions and windows couldn't format it. It ended this way. The player couldn't recover anymore. It was defective from the beginning. I decided to apply inmediately for a refund and perhaps try Pro Ebiz NEW 16gb 3" TFT Touchscreen Mp3 / Mp4 / Mp5 Player (Plays Avi/rm/rmvb/flv Without Conversion).

This is the 3rd player from ProEbiz i have purchased I also have the 8GB touchscreen with camera and the 16GB 3.0inch touchscreen. I have had no problems with either and am very impressed with this latest model. The on off and power switch were a little confusing but not a big deal. My biggest dissapointment was the small puch to carry it in, I prefer the rubber protectors that came with the other 2. There are plenty of good deatailed reviews already so i thought I would just include a couple of tips.
Although the player does advertise "Play most MPEG4, WMV, AVI, RM, RMVB and FLV without conversion" i would say most is a stretch, if you want perfect playback. I have found that most RM and FLV work flawlessy but any AVI or WMV of larger size have audio sync or timing issue when loading larger files. I load many TV episodes in avi that run around 350Mb and they work fine but larger files over, say, 750Mb often run into problems. The easy solution is to grab their Aviconverter 3.0 from [...]and convert your files before loading them. It is simple, runs large batches and fast. WM converter is good and there are many other freeware converters that work but their converter is extremely easy to use.
For the isues of format errors with music and music files just not playing it can be a ton of different things causing it to happen. To say that it works on another player so this player is crap is unfair because no 2 players are alike. If you wanted a Zune or Ipod you should have bought one. I have found several files that didn't work cause by file names being too long, corrupt ID3 headers, and files that were previously prepared for another type of media player, yet they would play on my cheap little Zvue. Try identifying the files that have issue then try renaming or you can download free tolls that can edit or repair the ID3 tags Multi ID3 Tag Editor. Tucows is a great source or download.com.
Overall I haven't found a better product for the money anywhere.
