Case works great, not very snug with ipod nano, so it is hard to use the touch pad.

 "do not recommend" 2009-06-18
By Charles J. Jenkins
This product seems like a good concept. You can use it with your Nike+ gear, right? So it would seem...

For starters, the band seems to be designed for a much smaller arm. I'm no big guy (barely average at 5'10" 180lbs), but the band cut off the circulation to my arm.

Next, getting your iPod into this contraption is frustrating. It barely fits into the sleeve and it's nearly impossible to get a key in the pocket and have it be easily accessible yet secure. If you use your iPod for more than running (which most do) this product will not be ideal for you.

Overall, this purchase was a waste of my money - I expected too much out of it and all it's doing is contributing to the waste in my trash can.

This thing is so great. The strap for the sensor to your shoe is nice and tight so it gives great accurate distances. The armband took me a while to get used to, but I run my headphone down the back of my shirt and out the sleeve and that keep s the cord from flopping around and it works great.

 "Nice Armband" 2009-05-11
By J. Pulliam (Midwest USA)
Armband is nice and ipod with nike sensor fits nicely. Two things, however, the plastic covering is too thick for easy operation of sound adjustments, and moisture sometimes gets between the plastic and the ipod. The amount of moisture is not yet a problem. Stitching has already started to come loose and I have only had a couple of months.

 "excellent value" 2009-05-01
By Runnn Alex~ (CA)
I think this bundle is a great value. The sensor case holds the transmitter well. I ran on a high school track, and each lap is 400 meter. The sensor is accurate within 0.5 to 1 meter over 400 meter, with which I am quite satisfied.

The armband is waterproof so your iPod won't get wet from sweat but I do notice a slight moisture build up in the case; the moisture probably entered the case through the hole for the headphone jack. It is not a terrible issue.

Other complaint is that the plastic cover dulls the sensitivity on the scroll wheel. It is not a huge problem though.

Another complaint is that I have to take out my ipod to synch... again not a huge issue.

Overall, I think this bundle is a great value. Buy this if you need an armband and a sensor case.

 "great for running" 2009-10-28
By Nicole L. Diglio (orlando, FL)
After going through several other armbands, this is the best one if you run with the Nike + attachment. I also really like that there is a place to wrap your extra wire around.

"Very frustrating to use while working out!" 2009-10-20
By HBeauchene (Seattle, WA)
This is one of the only armbands I can find for this model of ipod and it's a bit of a disappointment. The space for the ipod is too large so the ipod slips around a lot while in use. If you're a heavy sweater/hardcore workout junkie, the compartment collects a lot of condensation from the sweat which then makes it difficult or impossible to use the click wheel. Given that it's the only product I could find, I suppose it serves it's purpose, but the design could certainly be improved to make it more waterproof with a snugger fit for the ipod. The velcro is awesome and it's comfortable to wear otherwise.

 "Not quite long enough" 2009-09-13
By J. Person (San Diego, CA USA)
I needed a new holder for my iPod nano 3G after using the Apple brand one for a couple of years. I gave this one a try mainly because of the low price. It's slightly more difficult to get the iPod in and to access it with the headphone cable as there's just a narrow slot for insertion and a couple of small holes for access to headphones and the hold button. I've only used it once and it started to get moist under the plastic screen, so it remains to be seen how well it will protect from moisture while I'm running.

My main problem is that the arm strap is too short. I'm 6'2" with 14" biceps. I measured the overall length of the strap and it's only 15". It holds via a Velcro-style flap that you have to loop over, so I have just under an inch of hold if I cinch it tight. The Apple strap is 17" long.

I haven't found the ideal solution yet for jogging with my iPod, but I'll keep trying to use this one if I can.

"Armband was made for women" 2009-09-01
By James Y. So
Its very tight on my arms and its way too small for average men's arm. It does not fit the 4th Gen Nano or any of the Ipod.

I would not recommend this product to men who has 12 inch arms or bigger. If fact its total waste of $20.00.

 "Just plain nifty" 2009-08-16
By Nightfall (UT, USA)
As anyone who has struggled with the problem of where to stash their I-pod while they are listening to it knows, contraptions like this are essential for playing and forgetting. Before I got this thing, my I-pod was constantly falling out of my shirt pocket. I'd stick in my pants pocket, and then the earphones would get pulled out of my ears because there was too much strain on the cords. So I bought this thing. Great little device, stays on my arm just fine. The only thing I would point out is that the band isn't quite as big as they make it sound. It supposed to fit arms up to 17". I have scrawny girly arms, and it's tight on me. So if you're a body builder with enormous arms, you're probably going to find this a bit too small for you.

"good except for volume control" 2009-09-05
By J. Sullivan (DE)
This fit comfortably on my arm and I like the fact that it fully protects my iPod Nano from dust and dirt while I'm doing yard work. It has an extra pocket that would fit a key which would be convenient for anyone who might be running and need to lock their car or house. The only downside is that the thick plastic that covers the front of the iPod makes it difficult to scroll through menus or change the volume. I either wind up taking it out of the cover to make these adjustments, or I initially set it to the volume and play list that I want and from there I can easily skip forward or backwards or pause during my workout or yardwork.

"Great product. Simple and Easy to use." 2009-08-28
By Alejandro Alvarado (San CLemente, CA United States)
Came in the mail quickly, easy to use and put on. I was a little bummed that the photo and description clearly showed grey and I got a black one, but that is no reason to say it doesn't work well. I work out every day and it extremely reliable.

 "Nice arm band" 2009-07-06
By Kevin Sheen (Colorado, USA)
Works as advertised. Not too tight on the arm, but keeps the Nano in place. The cord 'management' velcro tab is actually more useful than I thought it would be. Good protection for your iPod nano.

One thing to consider - when you get done with a run, you should probably pull out the iPod to keep condensation from forming. This isn't a fault of the product, rather just a side effect of having an enclosed (protected) compartment.

 "A little mis-leading" 2009-06-20
By Orlando R. Torres (Baghdad)
I am overall pleased with this product. Originally I was looking for an armband that would be big enough to fit around my bicep. This product advertised it would fit up to 17". It however fell way short of that. However, I wear it on my forearm and that seems to work great. Otherwise a great product!

"Arm Band for Palm Pre" 2009-10-02
By Michael J. Sanchez
I have a Palm Pre and the market for arm bands for the device is scarce so this arm band worked like a charm. I'm sure it could be better if it was specifically designed for the Palm Pre but I don't really need anything fancy. It does the job and I'm happy.

 "Simple yet effective" 2009-07-16
By Jacob Szafranski (Chicago, IL)
This product is just what you'd expect, but not in a bad way. It serves it's design and purpose well. The clip to hold the headphone wire is particularly nice and efficient.

The only slight annoyance is a slip-type adjustment system for tightness around the arm as opposed to velcro or another type of system. I wasn't expecting it, but it's fairly intuitive to get the hang of. All in all, you'll get what you want, if this is indeed it. The Open View Armband is well designed and serves its purpose well. Not a bad investment, especially considering its low price.

"Adequately fulfills purpose, but not much else" 2009-04-27
By J. R. Anderson (Burnsville, MN United States)
This is an okay band, but being my first, I'm not sure how it compares to other bands. It is a little uncomfortable at times and makes using my iPod complicated. The protective screen is nice but it makes it difficult to change songs, volume, etc. I'm not completely dissatisfied with this band, but there are some things I wouldn't mind changing either.

 "Simplistic and Efficent " 2009-03-26
By Jad (North Carolina, USA)
This Tune belt case is just what i needed, I didn't want Nike + Shoes, but I wanted to safely stow away the Nike + sensor. This does an excellent job of securing the sensor, and the instructions are impressively comprehensive considering they give you diagrams on the slip of paper and subtitles to them. Easy to use, can be used with every shoe. Keeps your sensor out of dirt and water, I ran with it in rain today and it's still working fine. I'd recommend this over other plastic holders due to its durability.

 "Practical and Works Perfect!" 2009-02-15

I don't own the Nike shoes, so this is a perfect way to adapt any pair of tennis shoes with your Nike Plus. I went running in the rain and it protected the sensor from getting muddy and gross. Don't know if that even affects the sensor, but I'm happy with it.

This works great if you don't have the Nike+ shoe - no issues in activating the Nike+ sensor & it stays put when running & general cardio exercise.
