 "Cyber love" 2010-05-02

By Stephanie Marcoux

This was exactly what I was looking for!! It lets me use my iPod anywhere and lets others hear my music too. I wanted something to allow me to listen to my music without ear buds and with great sound.

 "Compact, charging, good sound" 2010-05-02

By N. Jovanovic (Boston, MA)

I was looking for a product with three attributes:

1. compact design -- doesn't take much space on the shelf or in the suitcase

2. charging dock -- lots of iPod speakers are batteries only (which gives you only a few hours of music)

3. mid-range sound -- to fill a family room, not concert hall

This product satisfied all my criteria, plus it is easy to operate. It catches some interference noise, but there is a convenient power cut-off button in the back (silver slider switch) that can turn the unit off completely so it doesn't sound the interference.

Overall, good small pair of speakers that will keep your iPod charged and eliminate the hassle of having to hook up to the computer.

"no pause/play button - off/on button does not control iPod" 2010-04-30

By previse

It never occurred to me that anyone would make and iPod player without a pause/play button, or one where the off/on switch controls the amplifier but not the iPod. This player is unsatisfactory for listening to audiobooks because you can't stop to answer the phone without losing your place in the book. In my opinion, it's unsatisfactory for music because the bass is pumped up too much and can't be adjusted.

 "I Give Up!" 2010-04-25

By T. M. CRAIG (San Francisco-Bay Area, CA)

I was looking for a small iPod player with a fuller sound for my iTouch in the kitchen counter area and on trips. Previous purchases included a iLive IBCD2817 (thin sound) and a Klipsch iGroove SXT (too bulky, especially with the power brick).

The Cyber Acoustics appeared at first to be the answer. Very compact and with an amazingly rich sound, which was initially great for both music, podcasts and wifi radio.

But then the buzzing, crackling and static started and it didn't matter which outlet it was plugged into (I tried it both at work and home).

I thought it may have been a defect in the one unit, but after returning it and receiving a replacement the same problem occurred again. So frustrating!

Amazon has been great about the returns and sadly the second unit will be shipped back tomorrow for credit.

"be forewarned 4th gen nano owners!!!!" 2010-04-22

By R. Speed (dulles, va)

i bought this product for my fourth generation nano. problem is that the insert that cyber acustics makes specifically for the fourth generation ipod nano is incompatible. the genius's behind this product didn't double check their product before putting it into production. more specifically the plug that goes in the bottom of the nano is offset to the right, well the insert for this dock has the prong going into a left offset. kindof confusing, but think of it like this, hold up your hand, fingers up, all four finger are the base of the nano, the two right fingers indicate where the plug would go. well the insert is made as if the plug would go where the left two fingers are. so that being said, i have to use the ipod classic insert that it comes with, leaving the nano with room to wobble around and lead to the product breaking at the connection. like other users have said, it sounds good for the money. but its really upsetting when a small little error in production makes the product incompatible with some it advertises compatibility with. amazon- thankyou, cyber acustics- not sure about you guys.
