 "Def. Get" 2010-04-05

This works perfectly! I tested it out to make sure it clocked the correct mileage on a path I knew the exact distance for and it was right on. the people who said this didn't work well must not have used it correctly.

"If you want to try Nike+ but don't want to buy new shoes, buy this" 2010-04-02

By Peter

If you've already got a pair of shoes that you really like, or don't have the money to spring for a new pair of Nike+'s, this is really the best way to go.

Right now I'm using this with my Nike+ Sport Band and I couldn't be happier. I have noticed that a few people complained about accuracy, but I haven't had these problems. Sometimes I will notice I will be short or up .01 of a mile, but I'm not a professional runner and errors that small do not affect me. I'm more concerned about using this product to motivate myself to run.

The build quality is excellent, and stands up to all the strain I put on it. (I tend to hike rougher trails every now and then, and the dirt has no impact on the sensor) It fits very snugly in your shoe, and I guess my only qualm is that it's a pain to take off and put back on, although that never really comes up considering I have a dedicated pair of shoes for running.

Bottom line: if you want to start Nike+ and don't have an iPhone or iPod, get yourself the Sport Band and this little case and you've got yourself a new hobby.

"The concept is sound, but over-priced" 2010-03-30

By Guillermo A. Llerena (Astoria, NY USA)

Strapping your Nike+ sensor to the laces of your shoes works just fine if you take the time to calibrate your Nike+ system. However, $8+ is too much to spend on a pouch unless your are seriously concerned with aesthetics.

Here's a very cheap, and waterproof, way to do it:

- Get a small ziplock bag - A least 4 inches wide (I use one that had screws from a bookcase I bought)

- Place the Nike+ sensor inside the bag and seal

- Starting from the ziplock end, roll the bag up (like a scroll), making sure the sensor is in the center-bottom of the bag when you start (you may also want the logo side the sensor facing away from the way you're rolling)

- Lastly, with your shoes on, tuck the ends of the bag under your laces (making sure the Nike and Apple logos are facing up and toward you) and lace up with the sensor placed where you find the lace loop on the shoe's tongue.

Now you're ready to run, rain or shine, with your Nike+ without spending a lot of money or any risky shoe alterations

"Great alternative to buying Nike + shoes" 2010-03-27

By Bananas (Illinois)

This little sensor case not only keeps your sensor in safe and tight, but it is really easy to attach to your favorite running shoes. The sensor registered to my iPhone just like it does when it's in my Nike + shoes. No problems at all. Too bad the sensor battery isn't of higher quality!

 "It Works" 2010-03-20

By A. Smith

There really isn't a lot that I need to state in regards to this sensor case.

It works.

//I use it with my Nike+ and Brook's Beast Running shoes. I have ran on the treadmill and outdoors with it and my graph on nike's website of the speed looks consistent. It is not losing data thus I like the product. My next shoe will probably a nike+ shoe so it doesn't have the weird pouch look but I don't look pretty running anyways.
