You get what you pay for. Doesn't work all that well with the iPhone, but other than that it is a pretty good cheep little iPod player. I wish I had spent a little bit more and got one with AM FM radio ability. ......
I have another Altec Lansing speaker system for ipod that I love. It metal, with a waterproof remove very nice. So I bought this one hoping to be similarly impressed. This model however is nothing like that, it's cheep plastic garbage. Not worth it. ......
Speakers sounded good but don't work with my iPhone and wouldnt power on after only one use. Called customer service and they are sending me a brand new one.......
The unit has good sound for the price, however the classic iPOD adapter did not work. Had to remove it and dock the iPOD directly to get any sound at all. With no adapter the iPOD is too unstable, flopping back and forth. Also the unit does not charge the iPOD as stated in the specs. Returning the unit to Altec Lansing. ......
When the item arrived, it was already to go, just needed conection cables ( radio Shack 1.99 ) once in place it was a beatiful sound, I was looking at Bose , this sounds just as good, volume is loud enough for parties and soft enought to relax, which I do every morning in the back yard while soaking up the sun. I would recommend this sound system to anyone, it has been a pleasure!!!!!!......
