No ... I tried the Belkin from Apple and it has less static, and you have more control over frequencies, PRO settings for audio quality, and the use of MONO which really improves quality with the Belkin version. Also, this product is bulky and you cant see the screen while driving, and the dock is not made for the iphone although you can force it ... but not a good idea

We have two second generation iPods Touches. This unit charged both of them once, then a single one once. After that it failed to work for either iPod. Purchased two genuine Apple chargers and have never had a problem. This might look to be less expensive than an Apple charger, but $32 for two uses is way more expensive. I'll be sticking with Apple from now on.

This charger works 95% of the time. Sometimes the phone says that it is not made to work with the iPhone, so you unplug the phone and try it again and then it works. The main dislike on this product is the plugs in the base are at different angles for each one, and you have to push it on at the right angle, so I usually wiggle it around until it lines up. Over time I can see that this will break the connection of the plugin.

My wife and I have second gen iTouches and use them CONSTANTLY. Since we spend most of our time together in the living room it was a pain for us to go back to our separate desks just to charge our iTouch. I have our Powerdock setup right next to where we drop off our keys and such when we come home. We want to get iPhones but need to wait till our contract runs out with our current carrier. When it does, we'll be able to charge our iPhones in the same dock with just a change of inserts.



It is constructed very well and is very sturdy. I was worried about it slipping while trying to dock but it doesn't budge. The only issue we've had with ours is sometimes the power port on the back doesn't make full contact with the plug on the cord. A firm press fixes it easily.

This is a simple, yet elegant solution for the multiple iPhone family. My wife and I both have 3G iPhones. We were so delighted with them and the quality of service we get from AT&T (at least, in our area), that we decided to drop our landline. But the mess on the kitchen countertop with several charging units and their cables was a problem. This device solved the problem. Both phones, with protective covers on, fit easily into the charger, and even look good while they sit there! No adapters are needed, even though there are several included with the package. I have a car from a manufacturer that scosche claims the device is compatible with, and have the iPhone 3GS that Scosche's website clearly lists as compatible. However, while this DOES allow my iPhone to charge, it causes a high-pitched whine that's very distracting whenever music is played... basically, it's useless when you actually want to listen to your iPhone.



After over a month of investigating, Scosche has no solution, and doesn't say anything other than "Our on-line application guide indicates that the iFWA adaptor will correct the issue of non-charging, but should also indicate the possibility of noise problems."



Really? The "on-line application guide"? Why not make it clear on the product page that this device causes an issue with the iPhone 3GS instead of listing it as a clearly supported device? Epic fail for Scosche. Disappointed I bought this instead of an alternate device. I'll have to give the Griffin device a try next.

4G Ipods are STRANGE. A Ipod tech told me that the pin configuration is different then other models, so many IPOD interfaces will not work with 4G Nano models. My wife's car sterio/phone/navagation system is set up for interface with an Ipod. She has a 4G, which is the only generation of Ipods that will not interface. The Scosche was purchased to correc the problem. Sadly the Scosche passPort did not work. The return service was excellent and without problem. I just wish it had worked. I had to give the product a low rating because it did not work as promised.

I was facing a problem with XCarLink iPod Interface that cannot operate my iPod Touch 2 Gen properly. I read so many threads on the net claiming that Apple change the level of voltage between old and new versions of ipod. Old versions support 12V like cars voltage but newer ones like my iPod Touch 2 Gen support 5V. Even though that Scosche passPORT adapter intended to resolve the voltage issue but it also fix the issue with my car iPod Interface. Now my iPod is working well with XCarLink iPod interface and charging as well. Glad to own it :)
