NOT Leather
I had a few problems with the product. First, this is not leather. It smelled like gasoline. The odor finally dissipated several days after I opened it.

The openings at the top do not accommodate a 3rd generation 20GB iPod by HP. I had to cut them to fit, which proved it to be "pleather" (cheap imitation leather fabric). The product package is labeled "genuine leather," so it perhaps this posting is an honest mistake. I was excited about getting a red leather case for an older iPod at an affordable price, so am just disappointed. If you don't mind pleather and have a newer model, maybe it would be worth the admittedly low price.

As other reviewers noted, the window for the screen is open - no plastic protective covering. There's no headphone storage or management. The lanyard is a weird length so not useful to me. I thought it would be wristlet-size, but it has about a 14" drop from clip to end (a 28" strip of leather folded in two and riveted). This is too long to wear on wrist and too short to wear around neck.

My problems are with the product, not the vendor. The item arrived very promptly and was packed very nicely. The vendor responded quickly and professionally to my complaint.

Love, Love, Love this case
This case is so sturdy, and yet so soft to the touch. The cover closes with a magnet and protects my iPod classic very well. I actually keep it in bed under my pillow and listen every night before bed. Very easy to use even in the dark. Would love another one for my 80GB iPod.

Really like case...
I really like this case. It fixed snug and looks good too. No flopping around within the case. I do wish that it had a built-in place for the headphones as they have to be carried separately and sometimes you forget them and/or it requires having to remember and then rummage for headphones in your bag as well as the iPod.
